I was born in South Africa, Johannesburg.
I am a completely self-taught artist based in Durban KwaZulu-Natal and have been painting professionally since 1994.
I spent my early childhood in Moçambique and then South Africa living on farms and close to nature. I have travelled to Angola, Portugal, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Malawi and lived for extensive periods in Northern and Southern Moçambique.
I work mainly in oils on canvas but I also work in other mediums such as digital art, acrylics, and pencil.
I often accept commissions for digital portraits or digital artworks and photographic based work.
Initially I sold my artwork through Sandton Gallery in Sandton City, Johannesburg, but then began selling privately to local and international collectors, game lodges and corporates in Angola, Zimbabwe, Moçambique and South Africa and also in Australia, Japan, England, New Zealand, Portugal, Canada and the USA.
I do accept commission based work.While I began my career as a wildlife artist, my interests and subject matter have grown and are now vary varied.
